Makima has been in the headlines since she was introduced in the Chainsaw Man Manga, the fandom has been waiting for her animated version since the announcement for adaptation was made. Now that we are here 2 episodes in, some of the fans are not happy with the size differences between the manga and the anime. They think Mappa hasn’t done justice to Makima’s hot body and they should focus more, well some are even complaining about her Japanese voice.
Makima is the leader of the Public Safety Devil Hunters, and she is the control devil. You can call her the antagonist of the Chainsaw Man series, during her time she made a pact with the Prime Minister of Japan, a contract which was evil and cruel. When she is in a battle with someone powerful and if she receives wounds, those wounds would be transferred to a citizen in Japan!
Yes, basically everything she receives during a fight will be transferred to some innocent person, who has no idea what just happened to them. You can see when she was shot in the back of her head, some random guy who was buying stuff got his head splattered all over the floor. That’s a messed-up contract by Makima and the prime minister is to be blamed equally, she has died over 26 times already and that means 26 innocent people were killed because of her.
During her fight with Chainsaw Man, she thought she managed to kill him off, after ripping his heart off and leaving him for dead. But Chainsaw Man used Powers Blood and sliced down Makima’s head! Now this means some innocent person who was in his daily life, got his head chopped off. Denji chops her off and does the most Chainsaw Man thing, he cooks her flesh and eats her with rice. Now we know that’s gruesome, but everything in this story is gore and bloody and that’s the fun of it.
But even after Devils are killed, they are not actually dead, they just return to hell and reincarnate back on earth. But they don’t remember anything from their past lives, Denji comes across a girl with black hair and eyes like Makimas. Her name was Nayuta and she was the reincarnation of the control devil! Denji goes on to adopt her and takes care of her, Nayuta has no memories of her being the evil control devil in her past life. She is just a kid who loves cuddling dogs, but nothing in Chainsaw Man Universe stays sweet and calm for a long time. So, let’s see!
