So, Denji was just a poor kid who was left behind with a huge debt by his father, he goes on to live his life by selling his organs and even his own testicle. One day he comes across Pochita, a devil dog who was being chased by Devil Hunters. Denji feeds Pochita his own blood and saves him, later they become good friends and inseparable. Denji is killed by the Loan Sharks in a very gruesome way, and then comes Pochita who returns the favor by merging with Denji and turning him into Chainsaw Man! He goes on to kill the villains and chops them off with his chainsaws, then he is later found by Makima who gives him the option to join them or be killed by her.
She promises him good food and shelter, and Denji agrees with the idea of working with Public Safety and goes on with his new boss. She wanted Pochita from Denji and here he was falling in love with her, he was also ready to be just a mindless dog of hers. Denji then Meets Power and Aki his two teammates who later became like family to him, but Makima’s goal was to make Denji’s life hell and she went on to kill them brutally. Yes, Chainsaw Man did die at the hands of the Control devil, but he was saved by his best friend at the end moment. Let us explain to you how exactly.
Makima killed Power and Aki without any second thought, after this Denji agreed on becoming her slave so she wouldn’t kill any more people who were dear to him. He was most hurt by the death of his best buddy Power who was blasted into the half when she had a surprise birthday cake for him, and when he had to kill Aki himself so he wouldn’t kill people in his devil form. Denji turns into Chainsaw Man and decides to battle Makima!
They go on and on and you see the Control Devil having the upper hand over Denji, she goes on to rip his heart out of his chest (Pochita). Basically, if it was not for the blood power shared with denji when she made a contract, our protagonist would have been dead for a long. He woke up with the blood of Power and finished Makima and turned the tables around, Chainsaw Man was saved by his best friend’s blood and it helped him finish off the powerful Control Devil.
