Power is the best buddy of Denji and one of the most important characters in the Chainsaw Man saga, she is a blood fiend devil and can use her blood to create weapons. Power is a girl who is nasty and loves cats, you always see her messing around with denji and troubling him. She never had any kind of feelings towards anyone before she joined the group, but now she sees best friends in Aki and Denji. But the problem is Makima who has the need of controlling everything being the Control Devil, she sees Power getting close to Denji as a problem and decides to make a decision.
Yes, Power dies in the Chainsaw Man anime series, she was brutally killed by Makima when she was surprising Denji with a birthday cake. Makima went on to blast her torso all over the place, power was reduced to two pieces of flesh, and denji was left traumatized by this situation. We still don’t know why Makima did what she did, as Power was never a threat to her in any way. Maybe the only valid reason can be her and denji getting closer, which meant some kind of issue for her.
But before being killed, Power had made a contract with Denji with her blood. This same contract helped Chainsaw Man stay alive and kill Makima during their battle! Power was the reason for the death of the Control Devil, talk about Karma now. But the happy part for the fandom is that Power can return, when she returns in her form for a short period of time, she explains to Denji that she will be reincarnated into this world again as a blood fiend devil.
But she won’t be able to remember Denji and their relationship and can be his enemy in her next life, but she asks him to promise her that they will be buddies again in her next life. Just like you saw Nayuta being introduced into the Chainsaw Man series, she is the reincarnation of Makima which Denji went ahead and adopted. So, Denji currently is waiting for her reincarnation and then he will go on to become friends with Power again, she will return and we are here for the drama. So, Power is dead in normal words, but there is a high possibility that she can return to Chainsaw Man in the future.
