The Second part of the Chainsaw Man has started and few chapters in we have got some amazing powerful characters being introduced to us, like the War Devil and Asa Mitaka who are working as a team right now. The Chainsaw Man is getting an Anime adaptation in October 2022 and the hype for it is unreal, the fans have gone crazy because of the visuals trailer. Despite Denji being the protagonist his last appearance in the manga was in Chapter 97, after that he was nowhere in the following chapters and fans were questioning Tatsuki Fujimoto on this situation.
In the Chapter 102 you can see Denji fighting the Bat Devil and make his grand return! The Chainsaw Man fans have loved this return of their protagonist and they are trending it on social media.

In Chapter 102 you see Asa Mitaka and her friend Yuko trying to outrun the Bat Devil but while they are trying to escape Yuko gets injured badly. This makes her become unconscious and there is the War Devil again trying to speak to Asa where she suggests Asa to kill Yuko and turn her into a powerful weapon which will kill the Bat Devil. Asa ignores this bad idea and picks up her friend Yuko and starts running from the Bat Devil.

While she is running with Yuko in her arms, Asa trips over and falls down and this makes her realise that she has always tripped at critical moments in her life and her bad luck is something she cannot escape! We get a glimpse of her past memory where she is trying to save a cat and trips over and when her mother tries to help her it leads to her being eaten by a devil. Asa Mitaka feels like she is the one is to blamed for her mothers death, and that she cant let yuko die because of her past.

Asa Mitaka, accepts her fate when the Bat Devil is about to devour them both but then she is saved by a Devil Hunter and that’s Chainsaw Man!! He attacks the Bat Devil and kills it and saves the girls meanwhile you see the Cockroach Devil asking Denji why has he sided with humans despite him being a devil, and taunts him for acting like a super hero for humans. The Cockroach Devil captures five old people in one hand and a young bright student in the other and asks Chainsaw Man to choose the one he would like to save while the other dies.
While he talks about the deal, Chainsaw Man runs up on him and chops him down which destroys the car and kills the student in the process. He rushes to the building when he sees a cat being stuck and rescues it safe. The next day News report show that “Chainsaw Man saves Cat from the Cockroach Devil” but they totally omit down the fact that Denji let the civilians die.

Some of the fans are shocked how Denji let the people die and just cared about killing the devil but the other half of the fans know that Denji has always been a menace to society and he doesn’t care about the Collateral damage done during his fights. It was the return of Chainsaw Man that started trending Chapter 102 but we also found out about Asa Mitaka’s tragic past and the reason she hates devils. We still have no information on Denji being a constant in chapters from now on as the focus right now is more on the character and build-up of War Devil, it will be fun to see how the War Devil and Chainsaw Man go off on each other.
