Bleach is one of the greatest anime series and there is hardly any chapters or episodes that are of low quality, but the Fullbringer Arc was considered very low quality according to a fraction of the bleach fandom. Tite Kubo’s response to this was that the fans will understand the importance of this arc by the end of the anime, and maybe he was right because in the 8th Episode of Bleach’s Thousand Years of Blood War Arc we saw a glimpse of Ginjo, Tsukishima, and Kutsuzawa! The fans were shocked to see this fullbringers alive as they were killed by the Gotei 13 Captains.
The Fullbringers were human and after they were killed, their souls were sent to the Soul Society. This is where Kukaku Shiba, the head of the Shiba clan came across them and took them under her wings with a goal in mind. They started living with her in the Rukongai District, the head was training them so they could help against the Wandenreich and help the soul society. Let’s go more into detail on what happened with the Fullbringers and how they ended up in Soul Society.
Ichigo had just lost his Shinigami powers after the fight with Aizen, then he went on to meet a mysterious guy called Ginjo. He was a part of the group called Xcution, they offered to restore the powers of Kurosaki Ichigo and trained him to get more powerful and learn the Fullbring powers. Ichigo thought that Ginjo was his close buddy, but that’s when he was back-stabbed by the evil and we found out that he was the villain of the arc.
Ginjo’s goal was to restore the powers of the substitute Shinigami Ichigo and steal them, so he could take an act of revenge on the Gotei 13 of the Soul Society! Ichigo gets help from the Gotei 13 Captains and Lieutenants, they fight the Xcutions and destroy them to the ground. Ginjo goes on to tell Ichigo that the substitute Shinigami batch was only made so that the gotei 13 could control and keep track of his powers, but why are they still alive after they were killed in the fullbring arc? The ones who were killed by the soul society members were Tsukishima, Ginjo, and Kutsuzawa, the ones who survived the attack and decided to move over a new leaf are Jackie, Yukio, Shishigawara, and Riruka! The ones who survived were killed by shinigami’s so it was natural their souls would end up in the soul society, that’s the reason we saw them in the new episode of bleach with Kukkaku Shiba.
