Chainsaw Man is one of the best anime streaming right now, it has the fandom on hooks and the battle with Bleach Thousand Years of Blood War Arc is going strong. Tatsuki Fujimoto says that he is happy that he is anywhere near Tite Kubos Bleach, he feels it as a sense of achievement. Chainsaw Man has many amazing characters in the anime like Power, Denji, Makima, Kishibe, Aki, Kobeni, etc. They are all powerful characters and their presence in the series is strong, the fandom made a popularity contest to find out who is the most loved character in Chainsaw Man Anime.
The Poll was won by Power with a staggering lead, despite not being the MC it show, she managed to win the poll and it’s all because her character is very strong and lovable. But the happiness of the only anime only fans of the series will fade away soon, keep reading to find out the reason.
But let us warn you that if you are someone who only watches the anime then there are some huge spoilers ahead! Now that we have warned you beforehand, let’s move ahead with the spoiler. Makima who is the control devil and the boss to Power and Denji plans an evil plan in her head, in the manga she is seen with Denji at his place.
We see Power who is holding a birthday cake for Denji, she is there to surprise her best friend but what happens next is brutal. Makima asks Denji to meet Power is waiting for him outside, when they open the door to greet her. You see Makima pointing a finger gun at Power and then murmuring “Bang!” This blasts Powers’ torso and you see her dying in front of Denji! There is no reason why Makima had to kill Power out of nowhere, you see Denji not reacting they way he would because he was under the control devils powers.
So is Power Immortal in chainsaw man? No, but there’s a twist to it. ? Is power dead, and won’t return? She isn’t! As all Devil’s, Fiends go to hell and then they are reincarnated into the world of living. They are reborn on earth but then they don’t have any kind of memories from their past lives, this means Power will be reborn in the future. You also see in one chapter where Power explains to Denji that she will be reborn again and that he has to find her so they could be best friends again, Power and Denji had a very deep friendship and it was pure.
Denji managed to avenge her death using Powers Blood and ended up killing Makima in a blood-filled battle! So is Power immortal? No, because immortal means, one can’t die and will survive no matter what. But Power saw her end at the hands of Makima and will be reborn again.
