Ein then later went on with Spike on his jet, as he trusted him. 9. Katerina Solensan
Katerina appeared in the series at the very first, you can see her trying to flirt with Spike and trying to seduce him into something. She is a drug smuggler and the wife of Asimov Solensan, she had a dream of living her life on Mars and leaving the Tijuana Asteroid she lived on. Her Busty Body with dusky skin tone made her one of the hottest characters in cowboy bebop, Katerina’s character was inspired by Salma Hayek from desperado.
She tried to escape with Asimov when Spike found out about their plan and dropped all the Bloody Eye hiding in her dress. Asimov took the serum in order to defeat Spike but ended up taking a huge portion of it which made him go crazy. She dies when her jet is shot down by the police, she wasn’t sad about it as she wanted to live her life with Asimov.
8. Abdul Hakim
Abdul Hakim was a notorious thief who stole animals and sold them to Animal Treasures, he had a bounty of 80 million woolongs on his head. You see him face Spike when he is there to retrieve his stolen dog from another thief, the fight between Spike and Abdul is amazingly choreographed.
Abdul is a black man in 2071, his character appearance is really cool and he is trained in martial arts. When you see the fight, you can realize how tough it was for Spike to capture him, besides the moves he also carried a gun! He is the first-person Spike fights in the Cowboy Bepop series, he had short screen time but still, he is one of the Top 10 Popular Characters in Cowboy Bepop.
7. Vincent Volaju
Vincent Volaju is the main villain of Cowboy Bepop, he was a human being who went through experiments by the army. He was one the only person who survived those nano machines’ immunity experiments, he went on to lose his memory and started living his life in a hallucinatory state. The nanomachines were being built by the army for war, and Vincent is a veteran of that Titan war!
He was considered dead as he disappeared from the battlefield, after that he went on to spread the nanomachines around the solar system so he could destroy the human race once and for all! He is the main antagonist and he perfectly is the other part of Spike, this is why he is one of the Top 10 Popular Characters in Cowboy Bepop.
6. Julia
Julia is a woman who has been always mysterious throughout the series, Spike Spiegel is always on search of her as they developed a relationship during their time together. But the fact is that she worked for Vicious and was ordered by him to keep an eye on Spike, but this lead to her falling for Spike and having a genuine love for him.
Julia was a part of the Red Dragon run by Vicious, he had a sexual relationship with her and she always obeyed his orders. Even Vicious thought that Julia was a dangerous woman, as no one knew what she was planning. As the series goes on her character will keep you hooked on the show and she’s a well-written character.
5. Edward
Edward also known as Radical Edward is a child prodigy skilled in hacking everything, she originally is from the earth and her father was the cartographer known as Mr. Appledelhi! She was left by her father at an orphanage and under the care of sister Clara, she became comfortable and felt like family there. She felt better when she had a best friend named Tomato, who also was a geek for computer science. As she grew up without her parents, she had to give herself a name, and she chose “Edward Wang Hwe Pepel”.
Edward was fascinated by the bebop shit and always wanted to be part of them, she tracked their movements and then hacked it when they were on a mission on earth! When the crew was in trouble, she asked Faye to promise her that she can be a part of the group, if she helps them out. And that’s how Edward became a Bepop member and best friends with Ein.
4. Faye Valentine
We had to put in a GIF for her, Faye Valentine is the hottest character of the Cowboy Bepop series. She was born to a wealthy family in Singapore in 1994, I know you’re wondering if she is immortal. No, she got into an accident in 2014 after her spaceplane crashed, she was put into a cryogenic booth to preserve her body for the future.
She is a fearsome fighter and became one with the Bepop group, also she happens to be the one who recruited Edward into the group. She was rated as the hottest character in the series, and that’s why she makes place in our Top 10 Popular Characters in Cowboy Bepop.
3. Jet Black
Jet Black is the pilot of the bepop shit, and he is a former police officer from Ganymede. He was known for his raw powers and was called the Black Dog, his look is very different from others, as he has a beard without a moustache and likes to smoke cigarettes. Spike totally relies on Jet as he his very lazy and the latter is the complete opposite.
He served as an Inspector in the Inter Solar System police, but he had to leave the force because of losing his arm during a mission. He was betrayed by his then friend during that mission, who worked with him at the ISSP. He replaced his arm with a cyber limb arm and now works as a freelance bounty hunter with spike.
2. Vicious
Vicious is the main antagonist of the series, he is hardly seen in the front and when he appears you can feel his strong presence. Vicious is compared to a snake, as his bloodthirst for power, where he would do anything for it makes him a dangerous person to be messed with. He was not always a bad guy, but after he was betrayed by spike and his love Julia, he had to turn into a bad one.
He is a member of the Red Dragon Criminal organization, and he has fear instilled in people around the solar system. Vicious favourite weapon is his katana which he uses even during gun fights, he is a very skilful fighter when it comes to even hand-to-hand combat! He was a one of the soldiers during the Titan War!

He is known as one of the best MCs in the history of anime, as he is a no-bullshit guy and gets the work done during the missions. Spike was also rated as one of the most good-looking characters in anime by a leading poll in Japan, his style is often cosplayed in the Comic-Con festivals.
Spike was born on Mars in 2044, he works as a freelance bounty hunter with the Bepop group which has, Faye valentine, Jet black, Edward and their robotic corgi! He is a former member of the Red Dragon criminal organization, he left the gang and pretended to be dead so he can live a new life.
