Berserk is possibly the top 3 manga series of all time; the art and storyline plot of Berserk is something that can’t be matched in today’s time. Kentaro Miura is the creator of this masterpiece and to think that Miura did all of the manga art by his hands in a traditional style is insane! Sadly, Miura Sensei passed away a year ago due to illness, and the berserk manga has been left incomplete. The fans were sad about the demise of the mangaka and also that this masterpiece now won’t be completed. But then Kouji Mori came to the rescue, he is the childhood friend of Kentaro Miura and also a fellow mangaka. Mori said that he knows how the story of Berserk is going to end and that Miura had asked him to finish it off with his art style.
Now we got some new chapters of Berserk that were made by Kouji Mori, the manga was adapted first into an anime in 1997. It had only 25 episodes but the manga style was good but a little old as it was made in the 90s after that Netflix created one with CGI which looked utterly bad! So, it’s safe to say that Berserk never got a proper anime adaptation.
But the Good news is that the Berserk 1997 Anime series is coming to Netflix on the 1st of December! That means it has already been released on Netflix and you can enjoy this masterpiece instead of watching the CGI crap version of a joke. It was directed by the legendary Naohito Takahashi, and it will be shown in Selected European and Asian countries. Maybe, in some of the countries, it will release a bit late as it depends on the ownership of the region, all you need to do is kick back and enjoy this 90s masterpiece.
Netflix has acquired the right to some more good masterpieces like Monster, Parasyte, and other classic anime series. More news will be released on when the countries like the UK, the US, and Canada will have the rights to show Berserk 1997. It’s already been released in some of Asian countries, now let’s hope it is released soon everywhere.
