Uzumaki Naruto is the protagonist of the anime called “Naruto”, he is a fictional character created by Masashi Kishimoto who went on to become one of the greats. So, now we are here to talk about Naruto’s romantic aspect of life, who does Naruto love? Well, it’s a bit confusing and we blame Kishimoto for it and we will give you an explanation of why. Naruto started as a young, scrawny, naughty kid who was a menace to the village and its people, he would paint the Hokage faces and make them look funny.
The Konoha Village always mistreated him, all because he had the Nine-Tailed Fox “Kurama” sealed inside him. But Naruto turned out his fate and became the Hero of the Village where he went on to save Konoha during the Pain Arc and became well known during the 4th Great Ninja War! But his love life at the start of the show was quite funny and all he did was acted like a simp for his teammate Sakura Haruno. We all saw how Naruto always tried to save her from enemies and also confessed his love for Sakura, where he got rejected because she clearly was into Uchiha Sasuke. Then came a time when Naruto had to come to the realization that he won’t be able to win Sakura, and then he decided to move on.
During an episode in Naruto Shippuden, you see Sakura confessing her love for Naruto, but that was all a façade and it was to stop him from approaching Sasuke and trying to bring him back. Even Kishimoto had originally planned for Naruto and Sakura to end up together, but when he saw how much the fans hated her, he then changed his plans. Kishimoto’s wife thought the same thing and said “I always thought Sakura-chan and Naruto would be together by the end”.
So, if that was the original plan, then was Hinata going to be just someone who watches over Naruto like a creep? Well, the fans wanted them to be together more than the first one and Kishimoto went with it. It was the perfect plan as Hinata Hyuga had always loved Naruto with true feelings, she was saved by Naruto as a 7-year-old when she was being bullied. She never treated him any different despite the whole village hating him, Naruto was also fond of her in his own way and you could see that during some of the episodes. It started during the Chunin Exams when he confronted Neji when he put Hinata down, he supported Hinata and later took revenge and beat Neji in the battle!
When Pain had Naruto pinned on the ground with poles shoved into him, Hinata was the only Shinobi who had the courage to come forward. She went on to save Naruto and when Pain tried to kill her (We all thought she was dead, including Naruto). That’s when you saw the rage of Uzumaki Naruto, he turned into the Nine-Tailed Fox Kurama!
We were happy as we got to see Hinata and Naruto get married in the final episode of the series, it was a wonderful experience watching both of them grow. Now, if you ask us “Who does Naruto Love?” then it’s no one other than his courageous and beautiful wife, Hinata Uzumaki!
