Naruto was and always will be one of the greatest anime of all time, the series paved a way for anime like My Hero Academia, Black Clover, Jujutsu Kaisen, etc. The inspiration it gave the young otakus can’t be compared to anything else, when Naruto Shippuden ended, we saw a trailer for “Boruto: The Next Generations” in the end credits. The fanbase was divided into half, some of them were happy that they would love to see another generation of Shinobi, the others thought the idea was a failure and wouldn’t last long.
Boruto is the son of Uzumaki Naruto, the 7th Hokage of the Leaf Village. He is name means “Bolt”, which is a tribute to his uncle (Neji) which means “Nut”. Boruto is half Uzumaki and Half Hyuga, being a mixed breed Shinobi, he awakened a dojutsu “Jogan” so powerful that it started a revolution. His teacher is Konahamaru and he is partnered with Uchiha Sarada, Mitsuki, and Shikadai Nara.

The fanbase was upset when the animations in the series started to look very lazy, the plot was looking slow and they were just nerfing the original characters and making them look weak. We understand that they have to focus on Boruto, but nerfing other powerful characters who fought literal gods isn’t a good idea.
Boruto is trained by Uchiha Sasuke, who is his father’s best friend. He develops a close relationship with Sasuke and this is where fans loved the series a bit. They liked when they could see scenes of Naruto, Kakashi, Sasuke, Shikamaru, etc. Whenever Naruto’s original characters graced the screen, the viewership went up.
The Anime has a lot of filler episodes where the episodes don’t make sense at all, some fans think that the Boruto Manga has the potential to become huge but the animation studios have been lazy to do justice to Kishimoto’s story.
