Aki is one of the best characters in the Chainsaw Man series, he is the partner to denji and power who work under Makima. They all became good friends once they came under the same roof, but Aki is someone who despises Denji and his decision on becoming Chainsaw Man. He has no respect for him whatsoever, during the manga chapters you see how much Aki ignores the duo of Power and Denji. Aki becomes one of the heartthrobs of the show, but that won’t be the case for a long time as the story of Denji gets darker and darker.
Aki was controlled by Makima the Control Devil, he was turned into a Gun Fiend Devil, and after that he went on a rampage and started killing innocent people. Denji transformed into Chainsaw Man and decided to fight the Gun Devil himself, the battle went on for a long and Denji ended up killing the Gun Fiend! This left him depressed as he had just killed his new friend, Aki’s death was shocking to the fans as they couldn’t believe that the creator decided to kill him off so easily and early in the series.
Tatsuki Fujimoto has a habit of killing characters, he has no personal connections with them and Chainsaw Man was also voted as the manga with the greatest number of deaths. Now fans are still in denial and ask questions over social media forums “Is Aki really Dead?” they expect his revival in the series.
