Momoshiki was one of the strongest members of the Otsutsuki clan’s main family, he was sent on a mission to find Kaguya and her God Tree which was shown in Naruto Shippuden. His main plan was to find the seventh Hokage, Uzumaki Boruto, and use the chakra of kyubi to cultivate the God Tree. He is a very powerful character but quite sadistic, you can see him enjoying his time killing people of the leaf village when he and Kinshiki entered during the Chunin Exams. Also, the only reason he works with the members of Kara is that they are helping him in achieving his goal.
Momoshiki is adamant about creating the Gods Tree for the wellbeing of his clan, he absorbed Kinshiki without a second thought and his decision was purely based on power so he could beat Naruto and Sasuke. Momoshiki was pushed far by Leaf Duo, then he was killed by the Rasengan of Uzumaki Boruto and this led to him sealing his kama into Boruto. This means his spirit will keep lingering around in Boruto’s body, and whenever his chakra is weak Momoshiki will take over his body and control it.

They kill civilians for fun and this was enough to catch the attention of the person he came to meet, Naruto. When he absorbs Kinshiki he looks different in the movie and different in Anime, the anime design is far better than the one in the movie. But the fight scenes between the Otsutski and our Leaf Duo were crazy!
Momoshiki is so powerful that he defeated a jinchuriki himself, fought four Kages, and took on Naruto and Sasuke on level terms even when they had the six paths chakra. He was also skilled in hand-to-hand combat and displayed it during his fights with Naruto, with his byakugan he had the ability of x-ray vision and sucked in the opponent’s jutsus with the Rinnegan in his palms. Momoshiki’s spirit is still inside Boruto, who turns into Borushiki at times, he also destroyed his sensei’s Rinnegan with kunai after being controlled.
