This Martha Graham dance print reproduces Barbara Morgan’s celebrated 1937 photograph Celebration (the ‘Trio’): three dancers from the Martha Graham Dance Company frozen at the height of a leap, bodies stretched into a single explosive line. Morgan (1900–1992) is remembered as the great photographer of American modern dance, and this is one of her signature images — held in collections including the Museum of Modern Art.
