Fauvism earned its name when a critic described the artists as ‘wild beasts’ due to their aggressive use of non-naturalistic color. This print exemplifies that movement, using a shocking pink for the floor and a luminous purple for the interior walls.

A vibrant Fauvist interpretation of a French room featuring a pink floor, a wooden chair, and an open window looking onto rolling green and pink hills.
