About Hilma af Klint

Hilma af Klint (1862–1944) was a Swedish painter now recognised as a pioneer of abstract art. Her large spiritual paintings, made from 1906 onwards, predate many famous abstract works. Abstract art uses colour, shape and line instead of recognisable subjects. An abstract print sets a mood through colour and is easy to pair with furniture and textiles.
