There is a heavy, electrified tension that defines the aesthetic of modern neo-noir cinema. This print captures that stillness through the lens of Boris Pelcer, centering on the Driver’s back as he overlooks a landscape of billowing red clouds. The quilted satin of his scorpion jacket is rendered in intricate detail, shimmering against a deep crimson sky where a lone, pale moon hangs above the horizon.

About alternative movie posters

Alternative movie posters are often released as limited, numbered screen-print editions. Movie poster art has a history of its own, from painted studio campaigns to modern alternative designs. Alternative movie posters reinterpret films through an artist’s eye, often as limited-edition screen prints.

Styling this alternative movie poster

This alternative movie poster pairs a moody atmosphere with a red palette that is easy to build a room around. The tall format of “Drive Scorpion Jacket Boris Pelcer” suits narrow walls, hallways and the space beside a doorway; 18×24″ is a versatile middle size. Finish “Drive Scorpion Jacket Boris Pelcer” with a simple black or oak frame: its red palette stands out against warm neutrals and charcoal.
